Our work is guided by our strategic vision, whakamanahia – equity, access and choice.Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa (formally Family Planning) have a position available for a Medical Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner to provide services in the area of sexual and reproductive health.
This role is based in our Whanganui Clinic and is offering 8 hours each week on a Monday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.The successful applicant will have the following:Registered Medical Practitioner with the NZ Medical Council OR Registered Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing Council of NZ in the appropriate area of specialist practice with a current APC.Experience in sexual and reproductive health.Able to communicate effectively, particularly with young people.Preferably vocationally registered in sexual and reproductive health.Nurse Practitioner with relevant Master's Degree and prescribing rights.This role would suit a doctor or nurse practitioner looking to extend their knowledge of sexual and reproductive and women's health.
