As well as providing Ambulance Services, our programmes and team of over 11,000 staff and volunteers are helping to build strong, resilient communities across the motu; supporting everyone in Aotearoa to live healthier, happier and longer lives.Job DescriptionA pivotal role in the Youth team, you will provide leadership, direction and support to Youth Leaders and members of the Milton Youth division. A team player with well-honed organisational skills, you will lead the development and delivery of a high quality program which enhances the personal development of its members. This will include planning of annual, term, nightly and lesson level - and of course the appropriate resources (ratio).About the role:Effectively manage the Division to ensure a high performing team of Leaders and membersProvide mentoring, development and people leadership to Assistant Divisional Managers, Youth Leaders and Cadet NCO'sContribute to annual, term, nightly and lesson programme planningEnsure Divisional involvement across all aspect of the Youth ProgramActively engage in the delivery of Regional and District Level events as requiredEnsure implementation and adherence to all St John Policies and procedures (CPP compliance and reporting, issue management and escalation protocols)Make sure all activities are suitable, relevant, and of course, loaded with fun and adventure for all participants, whilst taking care to ensure they are in line with St John policySt John's Youth Programme provides young people with the experience to gain confidence, empathy, life, health and leadership skills - offering a fantastic opportunity for them to experience new things and of course ... have fun!
