Divisional Services and Administration is a team of highly skilled professionals responsible for delivering outstanding student and staff experiences through high quality operational management and administrative services. The role/Te mahi Reporting to the Director of Divisional Services and Administration, you will be part of the Divisional Services and Administration leadership team.
As a Divisional Senior Manager, you will work closely with the Pro-Vice-Chancellor Commerce, supporting the effective and efficient leadership, management and development of division-wide operational activity and strategy. This includes:
strategic and operational planning and reporting; managing service delivery and operational activities for the division; ensuring alignment of the operational and administrative services to the division's teaching, learning, research and strategic needs. In this senior leadership role, you will be an integral part of the Division of Commerce leadership team and act as a conduit between service units and the division.

Be a highly collaborative and resilient person. Have significant experience in operational and strategy leadership and management in a large and complex organisation. Have significant experience in people leadership, relationship management, operational management and planning. Have a commitment to personal professional development and a tertiary qualification (or current progress towards one). Be dedicated to working in a culturally safe and respectful manner and demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of Te Ao Maori, Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, and Pasifika values. Tertiary sector experience is essential for this role.
