District Nurse: Stoma Support at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Hutt Valley, Lower HuttNau mai, haere mai ki Te Whatu Ora - Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley DistrictService: Community Health ServiceContract: Fixed term Maternity leave cover (0.8 FTE)Salary: NZNO Meca $81,683 - $106,739 based on skills and experience pro rataAn opportunity has arisen to join the District Nursing service to cover Maternity leave.We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is interested in developing skills in the community. Once orientated to the General District Nursing role, there will be additional opportunity to orientate to supporting the Stomal therapy team while the current DN Stomal therapy is on Maternity leave.District Nursing provides a variety of specialist nursing services and is part of the network of community-based health care delivery services that aims to work in partnership with others to support treatment, rehabilitation, long-term condition management, and enable individuals to maximise their independence.Our team is made up of District Nurses, Associate Clinical Nurse Managers, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Health Care Assistants, and Admin support. The team supports skill acquisition through a comprehensive orientation program and encourages you to expand your knowledge and skills.The CHS Stoma team is part of the CHS team and is currently moving through a transition phase where we are supporting a new CNS Stomal therapist in the first part of next year.
