Across our peak period, this is more important than ever, so we are expanding our DC whanau across this time to help keep our stores thriving.Job DescriptionThis is a great opportunity to join our amazing team in the DC and play a key role in the day-to-day operations. You will assist in the efficient running of the distribution centre by ensuring the completion of all appropriate tasks in a timely and efficient manner.Other duties will include (but are not limited to):Physical checks of all outgoing pallets to ensure they are structurally sound and are labeled for the correct store.Check all relevant details of pallets e.g. size/store numbers etc.Ensure packaging within pallets is correct.Train team members where appropriate on the correct stacking of pallets.Check cartons/pallets against dispatch.Undertake checks for consignment closures during the day.Sorting/Identification of problem stock.Trouble Shooting/Problem Solving.Correct labeling of outgoing stock.Undertaking cyclic stock take tasks.Completion of identified consignment audits.This role will require you to use a stock picker at height.Liaison with Inventory Supervisor to identify errors.This role is Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm working 40 hours a week.QualificationsPrevious distribution experience would be advantageous.Attention to detail.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Basic computer skills.A passion to deliver great results.Must be able to work with machinery (training and licenses provided).Must be okay to work at heights.It can also be physically demanding at times so we're looking for people with a great attitude and a good degree of strength who can keep up with our fast-paced environment.If you are a focused and resilient team player who is able to follow and execute plans along with having great organisational skills and excellent attention to detail, then this is for you.Additional InformationTake an extra day off to celebrate your birthday!Staff discounts across all of our brands!Long Service leave!26 weeks fully paid parental leave or 10 days additional leave to support your partner.Fully paid Jury Service.Lifestyle Leave - spend more time doing the things you love!If you are passionate about helping Kiwi's Live better every day, then come join our family!
