As the Distribution Supervisor you will be responsible for planning and controlling the despatch of bulk products, coordinating multiple vehicles and drivers ensuring a timely, accurate and high level service while maintaining health and safety standards.The key functions for this role include:Managing the loading and dispatch of customer orders ensuring we deliver a quality service and products on timePrioritizing and scheduling truck deliveries to siteOverseeing the operation of our distribution functionProactively managing driver staff performanceCustomer Service and working closely with our Auckland branch networkDriving a strong Health & Safety cultureOccasional heavy liftingThe foundations to this role will see you demonstrating the below skill set:A motivated and conscientious team player who takes pride in exceeding customer expectationsA skilled administrator who is adept at managing their time, with proven ability to work well under pressure and comfortable in a fast-paced environmentA true knack for detail, great communication skills and a flexible approach to your workHappy to take a hands-on approach as some heavy lifting may be requiredComputer literate and not afraid to learn new systems and processesA current F endorsement (forklift) license and OSH accredited forklift certificate would be advantageousBuilding/Trade industry experience & exposure very helpfulAdvantages of Advancing Your Career with CartersStability and a focus on work life balance: this role offers permanent full-time employment with no work on Sundays.Attractive compensation package7.5% benefits package: designed to support your health and financial security.
