About the opportunity Working within the wider operations team of this fast-Growing company, this role oversees the end-to-end management of all supply chain functions.
Responsible for purchasing, planning, warehousing and distribution, you'll ensure supplies of raw and finished goods are available within required time frames.
Based in Hamilton, you'll be immersed in the manufacturing and commercial aspects of the business, and work alongside the Senior Leadership on exciting future growth and development opportunities.
Objectives of this role and Responsibility includes.
Receive and verify received order.
Ensure customer satisfaction with timely deliveries Protect brand image and reliability Foster growth-friendly supply chain practices Train employees, emphasizing safety guidelines and promoting a culture of excellence Analyse shipping and delivery data with an eye for optimization Ensure to store goods correctly by using equipment Ensure the quality of products stored with labelling Unload and dispatch goods.
Inventory management including location and stocktakes.
Other task will be required depending on daily work load.
Manage distribution through our transport Supplier to ensure on-time delivery and identify and mitigate any risks.
Supervise daily warehouse activities, inventory control, space management, floor productivity and shipping.
Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and companies' other facilities by communicating with Transport partners to ensure efficient delivery of package.
About You With substantial experience across the Warehouse and Distribution, you will have sound knowledge in end-to-end practices and can apply an integrated approach to business objectives.
A forward planner, you will demonstrate the ability to anticipate and plan with cross functional cooperation.
Thriving on developing a high performing team, you are a strong communicator and are able to influence and demonstrate leadership across the business.
Most importantly, you have the passion to be a part of a visionary company, providing great product with great ethos.
Additionally, you will have: Any Bachelor in qualification or similar relevant experience in warehouse.
Expert knowledge working with Microsoft Office/Google applications Strong knowledge in Supply Chain Production Planning, Operations Planning, Warehousing and Distribution.
General business knowledge with a strong customer focus Strong knowledge in Inventory Control.
Having strong skills in planning and execution.
