About the opportunity
Working within the wider operations team of this fast-growing company, this role oversees the end-to-end management of all supply chain functions. Responsible for purchasing, planning, warehousing, and distribution, you'll ensure supplies of raw and finished goods are available within required time frames. Based in Hamilton, you'll be immersed in the manufacturing and commercial aspects of the business and work alongside the Senior Leadership on exciting future growth and development opportunities.
Objectives of this role and Responsibilities include:
Receive and verify received orders.
Ensure customer satisfaction with timely deliveries.
Protect brand image and reliability.
Foster growth-friendly supply chain practices.
Train employees, emphasizing safety guidelines and promoting a culture of excellence.
Analyze shipping and delivery data with an eye for optimization.
Ensure goods are stored correctly using equipment.
Ensure the quality of products stored with labeling.
Unload and dispatch goods.
Manage inventory, including location and stocktakes.
Other tasks may be required depending on daily workload.
Manage distribution through our transport supplier to ensure on-time delivery and identify and mitigate any risks.
Supervise daily warehouse activities, inventory control, space management, floor productivity, and shipping.
Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and the company's other facilities by communicating with transport partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.
About You
With substantial experience across Warehouse and Distribution, you will have sound knowledge in end-to-end practices and can apply an integrated approach to business objectives. A forward planner, you will demonstrate the ability to anticipate and plan with cross-functional cooperation. Thriving on developing a high-performing team, you are a strong communicator and are able to influence and demonstrate leadership across the business.

Additionally, you will have:
A Bachelor or higher qualification, or 5 years work experience in fields relevant to management/distribution/supply chain.
Expert knowledge working with Microsoft Office/Google applications.
Strong knowledge in Supply Chain Production Planning, Operations Planning, Warehousing, and Distribution.
General business knowledge with a strong customer focus.
Strong knowledge in Inventory Control.
Strong skills in planning and execution.

Other Details:
Work location: Hamilton.
Hourly rate: $29.66 to $36.
Standard hours: 40 per week.
Minimum hours: 30 per week.
