The Role:
Being Better is not a destination; it is a journey that we work on every day, and it should never reach an endpoint. We are now at the point on this journey where we are looking for a Distribution and Logistics Manager to support the Operations Team by overseeing the logistics activities. The purpose of the Distribution and Logistics Manager role is to ensure seamless delivery of Better Eggs products on time and in full, manage stock and consumables alongside leading a team to success. This is a hands-on role with time required "on the tools" working alongside the team.
Primary duties include:
Provides leadership, guidance, and support to the team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to deliver outstanding outcomes.
Inventory Management.
Manages delivery scheduling ensuring end-to-end delivery and fulfillment of customer orders and optimization (internal and external).
Ensures coordination and cohesion between Lichfield and Masterton Sites.
Manages Better Egg's Fleet including all compliance, regulatory, and vehicle management systems.

+5 years' experience in logistics management/leadership roles.
Proficiency in computer systems specifically Excel.
Experience in change management specifically implementation of logistics improvement projects.
Experience with Lean Methodologies.
Forklift license or ability to gain qualification.
