As the Dispensary Manager, you will oversee operations in a specialised dispensary, ensuring seamless workflow, compliance, and top-quality care while growing your expertise in this evolving field.Monday - Friday roleThe pharmacy is open Monday - SaturdayYou may be required to either open or close the pharmacy, feel free to discuss your preference with us.BenefitsBe part of a fun, innovative, and supportive team.Opportunity to grow and lead in a specialised area of pharmacy.Advance your career in the fast-growing medicinal cannabis sector.Participate in ongoing professional development, including education days.Work in an exciting and expanding industry with excellent career growth prospects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day operations of the dispensary, ensuring all processes comply with legal and regulatory standards.Lead and mentor the pharmacy team, ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medicinal cannabis products.Implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and service quality.Oversee inventory management, ensuring the proper handling and storage of medicinal cannabis products.Collaborate with healthcare providers and stakeholders to optimise patient care and support.Keep the team updated on the latest developments in medicinal cannabis through ongoing education.Build relationships with suppliers and industry partners.Ensure the dispensary meets financial targets through budgeting and pricing strategies.Skills and ExperienceTertiary level qualification in Pharmacy.Current registration with the Pharmacy Council of NZ.Prior management experience in pharmacy environments.Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and medicinal cannabis products.Experience in inventory management and workflow optimisation.Candidates must hold the right to live and work in NZ (citizenship or valid visa required).If you're ready to take a leading role in a growing and innovative field, this position offers the perfect opportunity to make a significant impact while advancing your career as a Dispensary Manager.
