Let's go!We now have an opportunity available within our Dispatch team for an individual with initiative and previous dispatch experience in a customer service role. You will dispatch all work booked by customers to contracted drivers and/or fleet while ensuring a high level of service.In this dynamic job you will:Utilise your effective communication and leadership in building efficient dispatch runs.Allocate work in logical order, taking into consideration the chronological order of the work in a geographical method to ensure "on time performance" is met to company standards.Use your people skills to participate positively and ensure a cohesive team spirit is upheld.Identify trends and issues to the team.Contribute to projects to improve processes.This role is in an exciting and fast-paced industry and provides the opportunity for you to work within a dedicated team that contributes to making a great place to work. You will also need to have a real passion for customer service, understand the importance of delivering on promises, and show commitment & dedication to both our customers and fleet.Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 7am - 3.30pmTo be successful in this role you will need:Previous experience in dispatch and in a telephone-based customer service role is essential.Excellent communication skills via phone and email.Knowledge in point-to-point services (ideal).The ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.Excellent geographic knowledge of New Zealand.Computer experience, and strong keyboard/data entry + Microsoft Office skills are essential.An outgoing friendly attitude and great sense of humour!In return for upholding our promise to customers as well as 'buying' into our values, we can offer our employees a rich and diverse workplace offering.Your opportunity could start right here.
