Initially, you will learn the basics of this role, and once comfortable and confident, you will absorb more responsibilities.Key responsibilities:Coordinate and schedule deliveries, pickups, and shipmentsCommunicate with drivers to assign routes and ensure timely deliveriesMonitor driver progress and provide customers with updatesAddress any transportation issues or delays that may ariseMaintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and driver informationNegotiate delivery rates and timelines with contractorsPrint factory sheets according to the production scheduleCollaborate with factory staff to ensure timely manufacturing and deliveryHandle customer inquiries and provide estimated timeframes for deliveriesShare shipping details with customersCoordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goodsImplement and enforce safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulationsAbout You | Moku akeHomeview is seeking someone who takes pride in fostering strong relationships and streamlining their dispatch process.What we're looking for:Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple prioritiesConfident, proactive, and decisive communication styleA team player who enjoys contributing to a collaborative environmentExperience working in a dispatch or logistics role is advantageousNote: You must be a New Zealand Citizen or Resident to qualify for this position.
