Ko ta matou mahi Our Role
Reporting to the DCE Government Sector Relationships, the Director Sector Relationships plays a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships across the organisation, the wider government, relevant sector partners and stakeholders.
This will involve leading the Sector Relationships teams, a centre of expertise, to support Kainga Ora to partner more and better to deliver on our priorities. Strong, experienced and influential leadership will be vital, so the team has the mandate and profile in the business to deliver on its work programme.
This role is based in Wellington to work closer with the DCE office, the government, and various government partners.
Nga pumanawatanga ou What you will bring
Significant leadership experience in partnerships and sector relationship at a senior level. Extensive experience developing and implementing strategy at a senior level. Qualifications in partnership practice e.g. Partnership Brokers Association accreditation and/or proven experience and success in strategic partnership advisory roles. Strong understanding of the Government Sector and proficient ability to navigate the complexities of being a Crown Agency. Proven experience developing and nurturing a centre of excellence. In-depth understanding of and experience in engagement, partnerships and relationship management practices and methodologies. Demonstrated success in building and leading high performing teams in a challenging environment. A good working understanding of Te reo and Te Ao Maori.
