We also welcome applicants interested in being based in Poneke / Wellington or Otautahi / Christchurch.Our tax practice is supportive, agile, and inclusive, handling a wide range of tax matters such as international tax, M&A, tax accounting and compliance, and tax strategy.
Our clients range from iconic New Zealand and international corporations to family-owned businesses, entrepreneurial enterprises, and high net worth individuals.Embrace a collaborative approach to deliver tailored and effective solutions for a variety of clients.
You'll be part of a vibrant and supportive team known for embracing change, innovation, and flexible working practices, including the use of generative AI, part-time work, and job sharing.Responsibilities:Client Management: Drive and maintain robust client relationships, serving as the primary contact for complex tax issues while delivering tailored tax solutions.Project Management: Oversee the delivery of multiple tax projects, managing budgets and ensuring client satisfaction.Technical Expertise: Influence and advise on comprehensive tax matters such as corporate tax, international tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.Leadership and Team Development: Mentor and lead a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative culture and conducting performance reviews.Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic direction of the Tax and Enterprise division, identifying new opportunities and targets.Nga pukenga kei a koe / Skills and experience8+ years of experience in tax advisory, with significant leadership exposure.Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent is desirable.Proven experience in managing large client portfolios and complex tax issues.Excellent report writing, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Strong technical knowledge of New Zealand and international tax laws.Nga ahuatanga hirahira o te mahi ki PwC / Highlights of working at PwC NZUnrivalled level of access to industry expertise, both locally and through our wider global network of member firms, where you'll be enabled by cutting-edge technology.A cash contribution to enable you to set up your home workspace.
