Job Description In this multi-functional role, you will be a key senior member of our Transmission & Distribution team dedicated to leading and engaging with our clients to deliver technically challenging multi-disciplinary projects.  This is a new specialist director level secondary design role in combination with integrated project management and delivery to support the growth of our NZ energy practice.
What will a day in this role look like?
Checking and approving secondary design and protection settings Reviewing and providing input into bids and pursuits; actively participating in business and strategic planning activities to identify opportunities to continue the growth of the business in the short, medium and longer-term.
Leading the delivery of projects and the development of leading-edge technical skills and their practical application, in ways that add value to AECOM and our clients.
Mentoring team members in their development, facilitating opportunities that build competency, and assisting with professional accreditation where appropriate.
Undertaking design management roles for multidisciplinary projects; ensuring integrated design through effective communication and coordination with other disciplines.

Degree qualified in electrical or power systems engineering (or equivalent) Minimum of 15 years' HV substation design experience including IEC61850 configuration Protection settings experience is highly advantageous Demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-discipline projects and meeting delivery requirements for NZ and/or Australian clients Proven client relationship management and business development skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is the world's trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
