When it comes to user research at this well-known, well-loved brand, you'll be running the show, my friend. Your zeal to meet customer needs, your in-depth expertise in research, and your strong sense of retail business strategy will make you a highly effective leader of all user research initiatives that involve the e-commerce site and mobile app, as well as key omnichannel linkages with the physical store footprint.
At this company, UX research isn't some ivory-tower endeavor. You'll be in the mix, partnering with product management, data analytics, technology, and user experience to provide critical insight that will guide strategic decisions across the company. You'll be able to rack up accomplishments like never before in your career, backed by a strong team of user researchers that you'll select, hire, train, mentor, and manage. You'll define research processes and success metrics, oversee the company's in-house testing lab, and negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party vendors.
The scale and scope of this role are a testament to the value and importance placed on user research by the company's senior leadership. So a key part of the job is to evangelize user research across the company, opening the eyes of all stakeholders and inspiring them to seek out opportunities to deploy user research to make strategic business decisions in their respective areas.

How you'll know if you're a fit…
We'd love to chat with you if you have a minimum of 10 years' experience that spans all areas of user research (including design research, market research, and usability testing) applied to consumer mobile applications and e-commerce websites. Retail store or omnichannel experience would be a big advantage. At least 5 of those years were spent leading research teams executing multiple projects simultaneously.
In that time, you developed a deep knowledge of the full spectrum of quantitative and qualitative research methods and testing methodologies, along with a keen instinct for what works in the retail experience. You're an excellent communicator, cross-functional influencer, and thought leader. You're a superior project manager and effective delegator who can keep all the plates spinning at once, thanks to the talented teams you've so skillfully built and led.
