We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Director of Special Character.The successful candidate will:Inspire and lead the spiritual life of the school, fostering a strong Catholic ethos among students, staff and the wider school community.Work collaboratively with staff to integrate Catholic teachings and ministry into all aspects of school life.Oversee and coordinate liturgies, retreats, and other faith-based activities.Facilitate professional development in Special Character for staff.Build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and whanau.Demonstrate exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and engage both students and staff in the school's mission and values.We are looking for someone who:Will honour the principles of and giving effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.Is fully supportive of and committed to the Catholic Special Character of our kura.Has experience in teaching religious education and leading within a faith-based community.Can cultivate a welcoming and inclusive environment, grounded in Catholic teachings and values.Has a strong commitment to pastoral care and student well-being.Is innovative, visionary, and committed to developing young men of faith who will make a positive contribution to society.If you are ready to take on this rewarding role please submit your CV, a cover letter outlining your experience and vision for the role, and a statement of your faith journey.Applications should be sent to: The Rector, St Patrick's College, PO Box 14-022, Kilbirnie, Wellington 6241.
