Your role Your primary responsibilities as Director of Production will be the day-to-day leadership of the production operations at iMIX.
This looks like: Leading the Production teams in Napier and Christchurch, currently made up of 34 team members via five direct reports.
Playing a key role in the future vision of iMIX as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Implementing innovative ways of working through our digital transformation and site extensions.
Ensuring manufacturing excellence, working within the Medsafe NZ Code of Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) licence at all times.
You will be based in Christchurch or Napier at one of our GMP facilities, managing a team that works across both locations.
Your experience We are looking for someone with a breadth of experience and attributes across three main areas: People : You are purpose-led - always keeping the patient at the heart.
You have managed a high-performing team for several years.
You have high trust in your team and lead with humility and a strong belief the people doing the work know best.
You adapt, problem solve and remove obstacles to enable your team to succeed.
You have the ability to influence and implement change.
You have a nature of listening and discerning well.
You will be action-oriented, willing to join the team in the cleanroom.
Manufacturing : You have a deep understanding of Lean principles, a focus on data-driven innovation and have a mind of continuous improvement.
(iMIX is working with a Lean specialist, so you will be supported.)
You have experience implementing improvement tools that scale to enhance your team's wellbeing.
Quality : You can write a good SOP.
You know the bounds of the Code.
You have spent many years of your career in a high compliance GMP environment (e.g., food safety, medical, biotech, veterinary, pharma, or sterile compounding).
If you hold a Pharmaceutical Degree, Science Degree or equivalent qualification, that would be very advantageous.
