About the Opportunity In this role, you will lead the People & Culture function at Whitecliffe to enable and drive organizational success. You will have a direct People & Culture Specialist report to support in providing exceptional coaching, support and advice on all things People across the organization.
Strategic Planning
Prepare and implement an annual People & Culture plan aligned with organizational strategy
Develop innovative P&C initiatives that support company business and investment objectives
Create and execute strategic workforce planning to meet organizational goals
Organizational Development
Develop, innovate and maintain the entire employee life cycle to provide an exceptional employee experience and improve productivity
Lead the development and implementation of plans, policies, strategies and key projects for the People & Culture Team
Cultivate an organizational culture that reflects Whitecliffe's values, vision and purpose
Culture & Values
Foster and promote a positive organisational culture that embraces diversity and inclusion, high performing teams, and a productive work environment
Leadership Capability
Support a learning culture that encourages knowledge sharing, feedback, growth and commitment to lifelong learning
Develop comprehensive leadership development programs in collaboration with external or internal partners
Recruitment & Talent Management
Oversee the strategy for attraction, recruitment, selection and retention
Coach hiring managers on screening, interviewing, and selection processes
Performance Management
Design, implement and coach leaders on effective performance management strategies
Align performance management with organizational values and objectives
What You Will Bring Extensive experience in senior HR/People and Culture roles
A Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Human Resources, or a related field
Strong commercial acumen and business partnership capabilities
Proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies
Excellence in relationship building and stakeholder management
Deep understanding of NZ employment law and HR best practices
Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities
Experience in change management and organizational development
