What you will be doing: Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceLead and manage the day-to-day activity of the accounting department and ensure all standards are followedCompile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual reportsEnsure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and proceduresEnsure all financial reporting deadlines are metEnsure accurate and efficient monthly, quarterly and year end closeEstablish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control proceduresBalance operational, administrative and Colleague needsContinuously manage and support budget and forecast activities and assist Departmental Leaders as requiredOversee the financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit processEnsure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expensesAnalyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenuesAnalyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures; provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problemsFollow departmental policies and proceduresFollow all safety policiesOther duties as assigned Qualifications
Your experience and skills include: Senior Leadership experience in accepted accounting practices and principles requiredComputer literate in Microsoft Windows applications and relevant computer applications requiredUniversity/College degree in a related discipline requiredExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliable with exceptional attention to detailAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesHospitality accounting/finance experience (+5 yrs) preferred Additional Information
