Essential Functions:Ultimately accountable for the Radar group technical execution and performanceManagement and supervision of direct and indirect employees to foster a global environment. Must be a strong leader and motivator. Leadership, career development and capability building for the radar group including Systems engineers, Radar Principal engineers, FPGA engineers, RF engineers, embedded and software engineers, Quality and V&V engineers. Collaborate with hardware, mechanical and software engineering leaders outside the Radar group. Work closely with global product management and senior leadership team on product roadmaps, strategy and researchStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver these to a global audience using multimedia tools. Planning and designing radar systems and platforms.Develop algorithms and techniques to process radar signals and extract meaningful information.Designing radar antennas to transmit and receive signals efficiently.Conducting tests and simulations to ensure the performance and accuracy of radar systems.Managing the maintenance, improvements and lifecycle of radar products.Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's of Engineering degree with Masters or PhD preferred with 10 years of experience.Expert knowledge of radar systems, RF, FPGA, signal processing, software and ML with an understanding of hardware and mechanical engineering Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with a global team/audience.Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills, including ability to resolve disputes on a global basisAbility to meet deadlines; accomplish work in order of priority; professionally maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions.Ability to react quickly to new duties and situations encountered on the job. Ability to negotiate conflict and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of an organization Ability to support corporate 5 C's program. Customer Satisfaction, Commercial Edge, Collaboration, Culture of Passion and Performance, and Credibility.Large size display integration in harsh environment (industrial / marine / auto).Thermal design and management of high end compute, high resolution large displays in a harsh environment.Preferred Qualifications:Passion for boating preferred, have to at least be comfortable with product testing on boats.Formal management training.Working Conditions:Hybrid work environment with 2-3 days in office.Global travel 20% of the timeWhy Brunswick:Whatever tomorrow brings, we'll be at the leading edge.
