Position Overview: VergeSense seeks a strategic Director of Demand Generation to join the VergeSense Marketing team to own our demand generation and marketing funnel optimization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, you will work closely with marketing and sales to expand our category leadership and drive revenue growth via various demand-generation programs and tactics. Over the last 24 months, VergeSense has created and dominated the occupancy intelligence category. While we've experienced rapid growth, we need a passionate, opinionated, innovative demand-generation leader to engineer a next-generation digital strategy to ignite our funnel. You are a builder who will bring energy and strong opinions on achieving hyper-growth at VergeSense. Key Responsibilities: Through a strong partnership with sales & product marketing, develop and implement a digital demand generation strategy to exceed our lead, opportunity, and pipeline generation targets.Build and execute a predictable lead generation system leveraging our industry-leading content, education, and virtual programs.Engage our highest-value target accounts, creating awareness, engagement, and product discovery through a strategic account-based marketing program.Optimize our channel strategy for demand generation, inclusive of (but not limited to) LinkedIn, Google, Email Marketing, Inbound/SEO, and more.Build and activate lifecycle marketing programs to foster consistent touchpoints and brand engagement throughout the buyer's journey.Become a true partner to our sales team to deeply understand our ICP and their territories to build a consistent feedback loop to improve marketing campaigns.Deep understanding and ownership of the funnel with accountability to pipeline & revenue results, championing a data-driven culture by establishing KPIs, leveraging analytics to optimize our programs, and consistently recommending improvements.Who You Are: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.7+ years of experience in demand generation, revenue marketing, or growth marketing.This leader must be a hands-on executor of marketing tactics while managing a small team.Experience building and executing enterprise demand generation strategies across a variety of paid and organic channels; with a successful track record in exceeding pipeline targets. Deep understanding and experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and tools.You must be an excellent writer and verbal communicator with the ability to present clearly to your peers and an executive audience.Experience building and leveraging AI automation for lead & demand generation as well as BDR support is a plus.Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to optimizing marketing efforts.Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 a year. The salary range includes all on-target earnings. The position also includes company equity.
