Your New Role: In this newly created role, you will be a member of the senior leadership team, joining the business on the precipice of strong growth. In a role with broad remit that relies on both strong technical and stakeholder engagement capability, key areas of accountability include:
Driving the proposal process, including the preparation of bids and proposals pricing.Engaging with and advising clients on project designs and technical elements.Providing subject matter expertise on project opportunities, particularly involving grid connection.Assessing the viability of the generation connection process during site assessments and technical analysis of risks, costs and modelling.Guiding external consultants to perform grid connection studies through the whole project life cycle.Cultivating effective relationships with key external stakeholders, including network service providers and industry bodies.This is a fantastic role if you're looking to make a significant impact within an organisation experiencing strong growth and success, with long-term career opportunity.
About You: You will have depth of experience within the energy infrastructure sector, ideally with sound exposure to a breadth of stakeholders including developers, network service providers and industry bodies/regulators. You will ideally hold engineering qualifications (electrical preferred), with some experience across design, modelling and ideally the grid connection process.
Key behavioural attributes for the role include strong stakeholder engagement capability, an ability to embrace accountability and seek out opportunity, as well as resilience and comfort in rolling the sleeves up and getting into the detail when required.
