About the role Based in Cromwell, the Director - Central Campus will develop a growth strategy for Otago Polytechnic's Central Campus that is future-focused, responsive to akonga (learners), the community and industry and aligned to our organisational objectives.
You will lead the Central Otago Team to embed strategy, contributing to the achievement of Otago Polytechnic's strategic and operational goals.Ko wai koe | About youYou will be excited to lead the next stage of development of Central Campus, positioning it as a leading educational destination and a significant driver of economic prosperity for the region.The key skills and experience to be successful in this role include: · Proven commercial acumen with entrepreneurial flair· Relationship management experience and skills· Experienced change leader· Sound understanding of the changing context of vocational education · An extensive track record of effective team leadership· Successful experience in project management and business development· Demonstrable financial achievements.The successful applicant will demonstrate strong values which align with those of Otago Polytechnic and will hold a relevant tertiary qualification.
