Tradestaff are seeking a Directional Drill Operator for an immediate start!
Requirements: Proficiency in operating directional drilling equipment and understanding bore plans.
Valid Class 2 License with WTR endorsement (Wheels, Tracks, Rollers).
Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to underground drilling operations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
Friendly disposition and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities: Operate directional drilling equipment to create pathways and boreholes underground according to project specifications.
Ensure all drilling operations are conducted safely and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain and inspect drilling equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and safe operation.
Collaborate with project managers and crew members to plan and execute drilling activities effectively.
Document drilling activities, including borehole locations, depths, and any issues encountered during operations.
Provide support in site preparation and cleanup activities as needed.

Successful applicants must: Pass a pre-employment drug test.

Have your own vehicle with a restricted or full license.
You may also be required to submit a criminal history check with the Ministry of Justice.
Please note that our work is mainly industrial and therefore for Health and Safety reasons you do need a good command of English.
