Who we're looking for: We are seeking a Direct Marketing Specialist to join our small but fun marketing and channel sales team, based in our Auckland head office.
You will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in email marketing and customer data programs to set up, optimise and manage the lifecycle communications program for our different FleetPartners audiences.
These include small businesses, medium and enterprise fleet customers, drivers of our fleet vehicles, auto dealerships, auto manufacturers, business leads and prospects.
You will develop and execute effective email marketing campaigns to drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth within our audience base.
This role needs to create a structured lifecycle communication program with the aim to automate some of our communications at different touchpoints of a driver, small business owner, dealer or fleet managers lifecycle.
The role will also manage lead generation and nurture campaigns with our leads database.
A good understanding of marketing automation platforms (mainly HubSpot), data analysis, customer segmentation and the ability to develop and implement effective strategies that drive customer engagement and upsell opportunities.
This role requires a data-driven mindset, creative thinking, and the ability to optimise campaigns based on performance metrics.
What you'll be doing: Create engaging and targeted email campaigns that effectively communicate key messages and drive customer engagement, conversions, and retention across all FleetPartners audience segments.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to create compelling and personalised email content that aligns with marketing objectives.
Manage and develop further the customer lifecycle program for all our audiences.
Create and manage customer data and segmentation within data platforms including Salesforce and Hubspot.
Create lead nurturing workflows, and email marketing campaigns within the marketing automation platform, namely Hubspot.
Work with dealer Business Development Managers to manage communications and online training programs for our dealer partnership base.
Manage operations and service-related communications campaigns, as and when necessary, to existing customer base.
Utilise data-driven insights to identify opportunities for campaign optimisation and drive continuous improvement.
Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
Present results back to relevant stakeholders.
Conduct A/B testing to optimise email subject lines, content, layout, and CTAs.
Ensure compliance with email marketing best practices, data privacy regulations, and anti-spam laws.
Monitor email deliverability and manage email bounces, spam complaints, and unsubscribes.
Provide training and support to marketing team on the effective use of marketing automation tools and best practices.
Requirements Mid-level experience in managing customer lifecycle, email marketing or marketing automation or direct marketing role in a B2B or B2C environment.
Proficiency in marketing automation platforms such as Hubspot and exposure to CRMs such as Salesforce and data platforms such as PowerBI also helpful.
Good understanding of email marketing best practice, segmentation, lead nurturing and customer journey mapping.
Solid knowledge of marketing automation concepts, including workflows, triggers, lead scoring, and reporting.
Some experience in developing online training programs helpful.
Experience in data analysis and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and personalised email content.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
