Join our Customer and Commercial team in the newly established role of Digital Transformation Manager and lead the business through a comprehensive journey of transformation.This role plays a massive part in delivering this transformation, involved in everything from creating outstanding customer experiences to optimising processes for our own people, delivering intuitive interactions that align with user needs and business objectives and technical solutions that are up to date, scalable and supportable.The opportunity is there for you to define the role of, and deliver automation, AI, data strategy, our digital marketing engine, single customer view and digital capability to link across our portfolio, to name just a few.We're looking for a suitably experienced, curious and passionate leader ready to take on the opportunity to establish a new Digital Transformation team, become a thought and practice leader.
This role has three key focus areas:
1.Developing and delivering our future digital roadmap
2.Leading, reshaping and developing the potential of how we use data, today and on going
3.Increasing our digital capability and ensuring we unlock the potential of future tech
You will be responsible for setting and shaping the future vision for leveraging data across our business ensuring we become more data-focused, introduce new data sources, then turn data into actionable insights, transforming and modernising our business.Data is a key enabler and its potential needs to be unlocked and evolved at Christchurch Airport.This role is responsible for leading our BI (Business Intelligence) team.
Help to modernise our operations into a streamlined and sustainable model that effectively supports the business's growth and optimisation objectives.Define and upweight our digital capability right across our portfolio and wider business, ensuring we extract and leverage data.The role will have a clear focus on digital continuous improvement to simplify, enhance and redefine high frequency manual processes in our business as well as the responsibility to define, recommend, prioritise, deliver and step-change the use of data and digitalisation across many facets of our business.This role offers a unique opportunity to blend your affinity for technology, change and stakeholder engagement into one role. With a proven track record of leading a team, you'll be passionate about motivating and empowering others to achieve high performance and drive great results.You're a strategic thinker, able to operate one step ahead to anticipate opportunities and challenges.
To be successful in this role you will also need:
Strong leadership skills to lead and develop your team, while bringing the ability to collaborate cross functionally; A tertiary qualification or body of knowledge developed through equivalent experience; At least 10 years' experience with information management, the delivery of IT solutions in a commercial environment including strategy development; Experience with building best in class experiences and products, enabling business capability and objectives through technology; Experience in data system management, data governance, process digitalisation and leveraging automation; Relentless prioritization and alignment with business and IT stakeholders; Working with the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a proven track record of transformational initiatives; Excellent analytical skills, and data driven approach to constantly analyse user feedback and analytics report; Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders on transforming our business, with the ability to create roadmaps and investment cases.
