We are dedicated to enhancing our region's desirability as a place to live, work, visit, invest, and do business.We have an exciting 12 month fixed-term opportunity to support our Content & Channels team, for a Digital Specialist – Content. This role will primarily focus on delivering content for Discover Auckland, which exists to enhance the visitor experience for Aucklanders and visitors alike.He korero mou: About youIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Discover Auckland content activities align with business objectives and user needs, ultimately increasing brand awareness through engaging experiences. You will support the product development and roadmap to meet customer needs and commercial outcomes.You will work closely and collaboratively with business units and external suppliers to develop and implement the content strategy.To succeed in this role, you should have:Experience in creating digital content that drives high engagement.Experience in reviewing, modifying and executing a content strategy to deliver on business objectives.Knowledge of SEO to understand and identify customer needs for optimising content.Proficiency in channel management, including website, eDMs, and social media campaign management.A passion for measuring and analysing the effectiveness of content marketing efforts across our channels.A drive to achieve outcomes, motivated by results and goals.Qualifications include a preferred tertiary degree in a relevant subject or field such as digital marketing, marketing, or communications. Additionally, a minimum of 4-5 years of experience working in a busy marketing or digital team as a digital marketer, content manager, web writer, or content editor is preferred.Nga ahuatanga kei a matou: What we offerSo, what's in it for you?
