As the Digital Marketing Manager at The Web Guys, you will lead the company's digital marketing strategies while managing a cross-functional team in New Zealand and the Philippines.
Your primary focus will be driving business growth through strategic leadership and optimising performance across all digital channels.
Key Responsibilities: Lead a cross-functional digital marketing team across New Zealand and the Philippines.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and strategic direction to ensure team efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
Delegate tasks and oversee campaign execution, ensuring accountability and high performance across all functions.
Cost Analysis & Budgeting: Manage the overall digital marketing budget, allocating resources effectively.
Prepare monthly cost analysis reports to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
Present financial insights to the Director or General Manager.
Campaign Oversight: Strategically guide the team in planning and executing multi-channel digital campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, paid advertising).
Ensure campaigns align with business goals, while the team handles day-to-day execution.
Monitor overall campaign performance and make adjustments to achieve optimal results.
Lead the team in creating and implementing SEO strategies to improve search rankings and increase organic traffic.
Ensure SEO efforts deliver measurable success and meet client goals through key performance indicators (KPIs).
Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Campaign Management: Provide high-level oversight on PPC strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Ensure continual refinement of targeting, A/B testing, and optimization for better return on investment (ROI).
Direct the overall content and social media strategies, ensuring cohesion with broader marketing goals.
Guide the team to use data insights for improving engagement and brand awareness across platforms.
Set performance benchmarks and KPIs for all digital channels.
Regularly review performance reports and make strategic adjustments based on data insights.
Marketing Automation & CRM: Oversee the implementation and management of marketing automation systems to align with sales and customer relationship goals.
Ensure smooth integration of digital marketing efforts with CRM systems to improve customer targeting and retention.
Guide the team in optimising websites and landing pages to increase conversion rates and enhance user experience.
Oversee A/B testing to continuously improve website performance and lead generation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
Ensure seamless cross-team communication to enhance efficiency and performance.
Technology & Trend Awareness: Keep the team updated on emerging digital marketing technologies and trends.
Encourage the adoption of new tools or platforms to enhance campaign performance and operational efficiency.
Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, such as GDPR and data privacy laws.
Maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms.
Requirements: Experience: 5+ years of proven experience managing digital marketing teams and campaigns across SEO, SEM, PPC, and social media.
Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage a team across multiple locations (New Zealand and the Philippines) while driving performance and efficiency.
Budget Management: Experience in managing marketing budgets and delivering cost analysis reports.
SEO Expertise: Strong track record in SEO strategy development and client success management.
PPC Mastery: In-depth knowledge of PPC strategies and proven success in managing high-performing campaigns.
Social Media Savvy: Expertise in social media strategy development and success in increasing engagement and brand visibility.
Analytical Skills: Proficient in using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.)
to drive data-informed decisions.
Communication: Ability to report on team performance and marketing outcomes to senior leadership, including directors and shareholders.
Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams (sales, product development) to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
Marketing Automation & CRM: Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems for cohesive digital marketing efforts.
