We are seeking a talented and passionate Digital Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical support role within the marketing team, assisting with the day-to-day execution of digital marketing campaigns and content across various platforms.
  
This is a full-time, 40-hour-a-week permanent position working Monday-Friday from our headquarters in Kingsland, Auckland. 
  
  
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:  Email Marketing Support: Assisting with email marketing campaigns by building and creating email templates, segmenting, and product collection creation. Social Media Support: Helping run social media accounts by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement metrics, and responding to comments and messages. Content Creation: Supporting content creation efforts, such as writing blog posts, creating infographics, or designing social media visuals. SEO Optimisation: Assisting with keyword research and competitor analysis, and optimising website content for search engines. Administrative Support: Providing administrative support to the Digital Marketing Specialist and marketing team, including updating calendars, organising marketing assets, and assisting with ad hoc tasks. Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, such as sales or customer service, to ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints. Trend Monitoring: Keeping updated with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies and making recommendations for how the organisation can incorporate them into its marketing strategy. Event Support: Assisting with event planning and promotion, such as trade shows, in-store events, webinars, or product launches. Website Content Support: Helping update website content for promotions, including product descriptions and landing pages, and ensuring content is optimised for SEO. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or a related field. Experience with eCommerce or retail is a plus. Technical Skills: Familiarity with Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), and CMS tools (e.g., Shopify, WordPress). Basic graphic design skills are a plus. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure accuracy in content and data. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and work effectively with the team. Organisational Skills: Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines. Creative Thinking: Ability to contribute creative ideas and work collaboratively on content creation and campaign execution. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with digital tools and learning new platforms to help support marketing activities.
