We are looking for a skilled Digital Manager with a strong background in the digital industry and proven leadership experience. You should ideally have a tertiary qualification in communications, social sciences, or related fields, along with a business or people management qualification plus 9+ years of experience in the digital sector, including 5+ years leading technical specialists in customer-facing or operational roles. Expertise in information architecture, usability, user experience, and web-based technologies such as HTML, CSS, CMS, SEO, and Adobe Experience Manager is essential, as well as substantial experience using Microsoft applications and influencing decision-making processes.
Furthermore, strong collaboration and interpersonal skills are key, with a proven ability to assess customer and business needs and work effectively with stakeholders to achieve objectives. A solid understanding of the New Zealand Government Web Toolkit, WCAG 2.2 standards, user-centric design principles, and writing for web and mobile platforms is required. If you are an experienced leader with a passion for delivering customer-focused digital solutions, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
