The opportunity
The Breeze is your 'more music, less talk' radio station - the perfect place to relax and unwind. This role will primarily focus on The Breeze, with additional support for More FM Drive with Sarah & Flynny.
We're looking for a confident and creative Digital Lead to join our growing digital team at MediaWorks, based in our Auckland office. In this role, you'll create engaging content to drive audience growth and enhance our brand presence across the rova.nz website, app, and social platforms.
Reporting to the Radio Digital Director, you'll be part of a fun, creative, and collaborative team.
What matters most is a passion for our brands, a keen eye for content that resonates with audiences, and the ability to meet deadlines. As the Digital Lead, you'll be the go-to champion for all things digital and social across The Breeze and More FM Drive.
The Role:

Create and curate the best digital content that engages and grows our existing audiences
Work closely with announcers, producers, promotions, marketing and the station Content Director to turn on-air content into highly shareable digital content
Work with the Adobe suite of programmes to edit images and videos
Ensure briefs and assets are delivered on time for promotions to go live on time/as scheduled
Analyse the performance of content and promotions to learn and improve future activity

About you:

Proven Experience: 1-2 years of experience in video shooting/editing and producing creative, high-quality content.
Excellent design, photo and video editing skills in the Adobe suite.
You'll need to know how to shoot and edit video to a high standard. Video creation will be part of the role, so speed, creativity, and versatility are essential.
Experience and expertise in using and managing social media accounts.
Smart writing skills and the ability to turn content around in a flash.
Proactive and confident when getting your ideas across.
Great communication skills and a can-do attitude as you'll be working closely with our on-air talent to create content.
Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Previous experience with Content Management Systems and SEO knowledge isn't required but preferred.
