We are seeking an exceptional digital innovation specialist to lead our digital transformation journey across our junior and senior schools.
About the role
This unique position combines strategic planning with hands-on implementation, focusing on embedding cutting-edge digital practices and AI-driven learning methods into our educational framework.
Key elements:
Leading our digital innovation strategy and maintaining our prestigious Apple Distinguished School status
Spearheading the integration of AI and emerging technologies in teaching and learning
Managing and evolving our student-parent portal to ensure optimal user experience
Designing and delivering professional development programs that inspire and empower staff
Developing comprehensive digital citizenship programmes for students from Y0–13
Creating seamless digital transitions between our junior school and senior school
Contributing to curriculum planning and assessment strategies through a digital lens.
What you'll bring:
Current NZ teaching registration with 5+ years of teaching experience
Proven expertise in digital education leadership and professional development
Strong understanding of both primary and secondary assessment frameworks
Experience with AI integration in education and digital citizenship
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain educational technology ecosystems
Track record of presenting at national education conferences
Apple certified educator qualifications (desired but not essential)
Strong connections within national and international education networks.

Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
Strong leadership capabilities and change management experience
Passion for technology-enhanced learning
Commitment to excellence in education
Ability to inspire and mentor colleagues at all levels.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred)
Current NZ teaching registration
Relevant digital education certifications.
