We have a vacancy for a Digital Infrastructure Technology Lead to join our Digital Technology team, based in our offices in Mechanics Bay.
Reporting to the Head of Digital Technology, the role of the Digital Infrastructure Technology Lead is to lead the design, build and maintenance of the various infrastructure platforms that support the Port of Auckland's application portfolio with an aim to ensuring the stability and integrity of the platforms.
Responsibilities:
Define strategies and tactics for addressing technology needs (such as system upgrades and replacements, problem resolution, etc.)Produce infrastructure technical designs aligning with POAL's technical strategy and market developments.Lead the maturity improvement of technical operations processesProvide input into BAU activities, best practices, and the development of Digital Infrastructure Strategy, roadmaps, and standards.Enhance POAL disaster recovery practices.Act as the main contact for POAL business units, offering information and advice on technology solutions to meet their needs.Take ownership of overall Infrastructure design aspects of assigned projects.Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), Architects, Platform Engineers, Project Management, Cyber, and Digital Services Team.Ensure standard solutions comply with strategy and policy.
