The Digital Experience (DX) team are seeking a Digital Designer to join us in a permanent role andbuild upon our current digital designcapacity and skillsets. We're a dedicatedcrewspecialising in digital design, videography, animation,user experience, and extended reality.Weproducea wide range of digital media solutions for online delivery, including interactives, video (live action,animation,and motion graphics), plus more traditional graphic design (infographics, illustration, photography etc).We arealso taking our first steps into Extended Reality (XR) research and prototyping for vocational education.
This is reflective of our continued drive to learn and develop new media solutionsfor our learners.We thrive on creative challenges of all scales,focused oneffective learning and engagement. We design and develop for the end-to-end learning experience, rather than components in isolation. And we do it all with a good natured, and team based approach.

A relevant tertiary qualificationand3+years' experiencein web and graphic design.Confidence usingdigital designtools/applications, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.Capability toproblem solve and come up withcreativedesign solutions,whilecollaborating with a diverse range ofkaimahi.Skillsto collect, collate and clearly communicate project requirements.Intellectto innovate and continually improveondesignprocesses and practices.Experience indelivering digital media requestswithin budget.A working knowledge ofdigitaldesign principles and practices.It isa role with plenty of face-to-face interaction.You willprimarilybe basedonsite in Lower Hutt,while also having the flexibility to work from homeand connectwithourkaimahionline.
