The Design chapter are recruiting for a Digital Designer (Product Designer - internal title) to create useful, functional, and impactful digital experiences.
You'll tackle interaction design challenges, and work on new ideas that will transform how people experience our product, crafting digital experiences for a global audience.
The role you will play: Iteratively design functional and beautiful digital products – from sketches, wireframes and prototypes, to high-fidelity interface design.
Partner with our team of design specialists, integrating digital product into end-to-end customer experiences.
Create through collaboration, UX/UI design best-practice, and storytelling.
Enable the Air New Zealand brand, bringing our design language to life, engaging a variety of audiences in meaningful and fun ways.
Collaborate with Developers to ensure your designs are shipped with high-quality.
Contribute to our design system – Unison – helping our design and development teams work together at Air New Zealand.
Key skills and experience required: University degree in design is essential Minimum 3+ years design experience Core UX design skills in interaction design Ability to craft products that are aesthetically pleasing as well as functional and intuitive Proficiency with design tools; we use Figma and Miro An understanding of accessibility and usability best-practices Solid problem-solving skills, and attention to detail Ability to communicate your design work clearly Presentation skills that can help influence outcomes.
