Digger Operator & Orchard Worker

Darling Horticulture is excited to announce an opening for a Digger Operator & Orchard Worker to join our dedicated team in Waiharara, Far North.

In this role, you'll be part of the team that carries out all the various aspects of avocado cultivation from operating machinery to maintaining and ultimately harvesting our orchard.
What you will be doing: Operating diggers and other machinery for planting and maintenance in our avocado orchard.
Assisting, when required, in daily orchard tasks, including planting, pruning, and harvesting.
Orchard Maintenance: Performing essential tasks such as pruning, tying down branches, and mulching.

Legal right to work in New Zealand.
Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience.
This is a fixed term position, guaranteed 32 hours until the end of January 2025.
