Digger Operator

CWC is a small company looking for an experienced digger operator to join our team on a 6 month contract from October 2024 until March/April 2025 on the Mt Messenger by-pass project.
There will be a possibility of further work or casual work over the 2025 winter months.
A successful applicant will have: Proven ability to operate a 15T excavator across various sites including roading, drainage and earthworks. Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work. A team player attitude with excellent communication and leadership abilities. Initiative to solve problems and take action as needed. Willingness to work on the ground as well as in the machine. Current WTR endorsements are essential. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test. Must be prepared to work up to 12-hour days (including travel) and some Saturdays. Company vehicle supplied to travel to and from work only.
