Location: Wellington Regional Hospital
Service: ORA Allied Health, Dietetics team.
Contract: Fixed Term, Part Time (0.8FTE / 32 hours per week, until end June 2025)

Korero mo te turanga - About the role.
Based at Wellington Regional Hospital, this diverse and well-supported role works across the inpatient and outpatient setting, with exact caseload yet to be determined, but likely including areas of gastroenterology, medical and general outpatients. There is the potential to participate in and lead service improvement, resource development and other innovative practice. This role does not include overnight shifts, but once appropriate competencies have been completed, it would include participation in our weekend on call roster.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated dietitian to join our fun and supportive team of dietitians at Wellington Regional Hospital. We are a group of approximately 16 dietitians who work across inpatient and outpatient settings. We are a highly dedicated and patient-focused team of clinicians. We value the contributions and skills of all of our members. We strive to live our organisational values of Manaakitanga, Kotahitanga and Rangatiratanga. We have a strong reputation for excellent practice. As a member of our team of dietitians at Wellington Hospital you will be supported with regular professional development opportunities to assist you in meeting your continuing competency requirements, as well as regular clinical supervision
Mou - About you
Working with a diverse group of patients with significant health needs, you - ll demonstrate excellent clinical and communication skills and have a flexible, problem solving approach. You will have the ability to quickly build strong working relationships with patients, whanau and the wider multidisciplinary team and have excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
