About the role: We are looking for an exceptional Dietitian to join our Nutrition and Dietetic Team.
The role is based at Bay of Islands Hospital and is a permanent, part-time role working 32 hours per week split across 20 hours in community dietetics and 12 hours for inpatient dietetics.
In this role, you will provide dietetic care as a community dietitian across the mid north and far north.
You will also lead the implementation of our new dietetic role at Kawakawa Hospital to provide patient/whanau centred care, which is safe, effective and outcome focused.
These roles work within a multi-disciplinary framework, working closely with colleagues in community and on the wards.
Key requirements: Qualification in dietetics, as recognised by the New Zealand Dietitians Board Current registration with the Dietitians Board of New Zealand and Prescriber's Endorsement Current NZ Driver's Licence At least 3 years' experience working in a variety of clinical areas Excellent communication skills Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team You will be part of the team at Bay of Islands Hospital, but also part of the wider Dietetic team of 24 dietitians working across Te Tai Tokerau.
