Description This is an amazing opportunity for any experienced Diesel Technicians currently working within the Heavy Transport & Trucking Industry looking for a fresh opportunity. Our client has just secured a very full workload and are in need to expand their service team. We're on the hunt to find skilled Technicians that have track records that speak for themselves!
What We're Looking For:
Ideally someone currently working or have experience working within the Heavy Vehicle Transport Industry
Have a minimum (5) to (10) years of Truck Engine Service Experience
Experience servicing DAF or Kenworth Engines
Cummins Engine Maintenance Experience
Comfortable with Computer Diagnostics & Mechanical Diagnostics
Display knowledge of SAF and BPW systems
Confident with COF Servicing & ("ABC servicing")
Comfortable and capable being on call
Comfortable with disassembly and reassembly of engines
Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and associated systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulics.
Perform preventative maintenance to minimize unexpected breakdowns.
Document all repairs, parts used, and labour time according to company protocols.
Possess a Heavy Vehicle Drivers License
Preferred (But Not Required):
Gearbox and Differential Maintenance Experience
Trade Certification NZQF in Heavy Automotive Engineering (Level 4) (with strands of road Transport) or equivalent certification

(45) Hour Work Week + Time and a half paid for all Weekend Work
