We are seeking a skilled and motivated Foreman and Diesel Mechanic to maintain, repair, and service a fleet of commercial trucks, ensuring the safety and reliability of vehicles and delivering outstanding service to customers. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy-duty truck systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsRepair and replace parts such as engines, brakes, steering mechanisms, including COF repairs and accident repairsUtilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues and implement solutionsCollaborate with service advisors and team members to deliver timely and efficient serviceSkills sought Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably within a dealership or similar environment and experience working on late model trucksCertification as a Diesel Mechanic or equivalent technical trainingSound technical skills, strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and mechanical and fault-finding abilityProficiency in using diagnostic tools and technologyGood communication skillsStrong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance, as well as truck systems (brakes, hydraulics, electrical, etc.)Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-demand, service-driven environmentHow to apply Applications from those wanting to relocate from elsewhere within NZ are welcome.
