Diesel Motor Mechanics

We have a range of different types of equipment for small residential houses to larger commercial buildings and sites, offering the best earth moving services in Auckland.
We are now looking for three qualified Diesel Motor Mechanics who are competent in the service and repairs of our fleet including diggers, trucks, etc.
This is a full-time position working from Monday to Saturday with guaranteed 35 hours per week.
The hourly rate will be $29.66 per hour.
Key Responsibilities

Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults of diesel vehicles.
Conducting repairs, servicing, and testing for diesel vehicles and equipment.
Reassembling and adjusting vehicle parts after repairs.
Performing scheduled maintenance services by completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake checks.
Maintaining works register and vehicle records history.
Ensuring work is started in compliance with Health and Safety Policies.
Skills & Experiences

At least three years relevant work experience or equivalent qualification.
Knowledge of tools, equipment, and procedures used in the overhaul, repair, and adjustment of a variety of trucks and other manual or automotive equipment.
Ability to pass police and drug checks.
Willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
Attention to detail and focus on high-quality services.
