Diesel Mechanic - Trucks

Central Transport Limited is a rural cartage company based between Taupo and Rotorua, operating alongside Midlands Rural Transport Ltd. We run a modern fleet of more than 80 trucks.We require a permanent Diesel Mechanic to join our dedicated and positive team at our Broadlands depot.
As part of our team, you will work on a variety of vehicles and collaborate to ensure that our fleet is maintained to the highest standards.
We guarantee a minimum of 80 hours per fortnight.
The workshop is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, and you will be rostered to work alternate Saturdays from 8:00am – 12:00pm.We seek team members who demonstrate energy and have a 'can do' attitude.
We are looking for someone with:A certificate at NZQF Level 4, or a higher qualification, which includes the credit and knowledge requirements of the New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering (NZQF Level 4), or 3 years or more of industry experience.The ability to carry out maintenance, servicing, major repairs, and diagnostics of our diesel trucks.The ability to work safely and comply with CTL's health and safety policies and procedures.A stable career history and good references.We pay from $33.00 - $42.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
