As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checksDiagnose mechanical issues and conduct thorough inspections to identify problemsRepair or replace defective parts, components, or systemsConduct electrical system diagnostics and repairsOperate from the workshop and attend breakdowns and call outs when requiredSkills soughtA recognised automotive qualification, preferably as a diesel mechanicPrior experience working on earthmoving and agricultural equipment as well as trucksSound technical skills and mechanical abilityStrong diagnostic skills for using diagnostic software and maintaining digital recordsExcellent attention to detail and fault finding abilitiesGood communication skillsAbility to work flexible hours and respond to emergency repair requests as neededCollaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasksHow to applyApplications from those wanting to relocate from elsewhere within NZ are welcome.
