With a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction and we have built a strong reputation in the industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
Diagnose mechanical issues and conduct thorough inspections to identify problems
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
Conduct electrical system diagnostics and repairs
Operate from the workshop and attend breakdowns and call outs when required
Skills sought
A recognised automotive qualification, preferably as a diesel mechanic
Prior experience working on earthmoving and agricultural equipment as well as trucks
Sound technical skills and mechanical ability
Strong diagnostic skills for using diagnostic software and maintaining digital records
Excellent attention to detail and fault finding abilities
Good communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency repair requests as needed
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
