Croft Pole Distributors – Whangarei, North IslandCroft Poles & Timber is an independent family-owned business that has been operating for over 100 years, producing and supplying a wide range of wholesale sawn timber and Roundwood products into domestic and export markets. We have branches in both Whangarei and Auckland.Our Kauri branch is seeking an energetic and keen person to join their hardworking maintenance team. We require a skilled diesel mechanic.As a diesel mechanic, you will work primarily with trucks, forklifts, and bell grapples.This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 7.00 am to 5.30 pm, Friday 7.00 am to 3.00 pm, and overtime on request—an hourly rate from $35, depending on experience.To be successful in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude, good motivation, awareness of Health and Safety, good timekeeping and communication skills, be fit, have no previous injuries, be able to get to work each day, and pass pre-employment checks including a full medical and drug test.Applicants for this position must also have NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Permit, hold a New Zealand Driver's License, and pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
