Below is a brief description of this vacancyThis page outlines the vacancy and the key skills and responsibilities for the role.Reference: 6703508We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Tranzit bus and coach workshop team based in Darfield.The size of our fleet offers our mechanics the opportunity to continuously grow their automotive skillset and develop transferable skills to further their industry careers.In our workshops every day is different!
Here's what your day could look like:Diagnosing vehicle faults and problem-solving mechanical issuesServicing, repairs, and overall maintenance of our diverse fleet of vehiclesWorking on our electric buses and upskilling in our EV technology.What are we looking for?A minimum of 5 years experience working on large vehicles and being a qualified heavy diesel mechanic.
However, if you are a petrol mechanic with a similar length of experience, we are still keen to chat!A Class 2 NZ driver's licence, or the ability to obtain one with our support.A good eye for detail, eagerness to get the job done right, and a passion for the trade.What's on offer?Competitive hourly rates plus a tool allowanceMonday - Friday hours with occasional call outs as requiredGrowth and training opportunitiesSupportive and experienced teamPlenty of variety in your day to keep your skillset growing.We have workshops throughout NZ and can offer plenty of opportunity for growth and development.
