Diesel Mechanic

N J & D M Repairs have a permanent full-time job as a Heavy Transport Diesel Mechanic.
This position would cover duties/responsibilities such as:
Carry out servicing and a wide range of maintenance/repairs as required. Carry out COF prechecks and take vehicles for COF. Diagnosing electronic faults. Ensuring all vehicles being worked on are safe and roadworthy through inspections. Communicate effectively with co-workers and management. Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Work well as a team member, but also manage their workload as an individual. Work with management to ensure that the working environment is safe. Cover "On Call" on a shared rostered basis to attend breakdowns. Have a good standard of general fitness. Be prepared to increase knowledge and understanding of systems related to vehicles. Applicants need to have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. #J-18808-Ljbffr
