Diesel Mechanic

Job Description

Familiar with heavy machinery power and hydraulic electrical systems(excavators, road rollers, etc.)
Running diagnostic tests on heavy equipment and vehicles and analyzingdiagnostic test results.
Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steeringmechanisms and other components, and checking parts
Repairing and replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms,transmissions and braking systems and heavy equipment hydraulicsystems, and refer to service manuals as needed.
Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired
Performing scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes,lubrications and engine tune-ups to achieve smoother running of vehiclesand ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles.
Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.
Maintaining a parts inventory
Ensuring the cleanliness of the workshop.

Job pre-requisites:

At least three years of relevant experience
Eyes for details and a hard-working attitude
Must have a clear criminal record
